31 DEC to 15 JUN 2010 onwards I stepped forward to survey the rivers of India. In the process I visited Allahabad, Kanpur, Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Uttar Kashi, Gangotri and Gomukh. I was heart broken by the state of the rivers everywhere. It is a fact that if nothing is done NOW for the rivers of India it shall only appear in pictures in a few years time.
The Government meanwhile is caught up in their own work and very less has been said and done in this matter. Nothing can be expected from higher Government officials because they too are bound to their own limitations. I think CHANGE can only be brought by individuals like you and me through small contributions that we can afford.
Because its those tiny drops which finally makes an ocean. We are committed towards our work to save the rivers and I hope you’ll definitely support our cause. Your suggestions for this cause are always welcome. Please do send in your comments.
our country…a neat and clean country which they dreamt of. Lets join hands for this Noble and Spiritual Mission.
Our organization, YFF, has undertaken a project to clean the rivers of INDIA starting with The YAMUNA, which will be starting from Delhi .
This will greatly help in the cleaning of the YAMUNA.
We would be highly obliged if you could kindly help us in organizing this and give us a meeting time where we could explain our Programme in detail.
